Beautiful large chess set. Fine carving and turning. You don’t find too many of them around. The girth of it is enormous and the box is large enough to bury my cat in.
Probably made by Jaques. Mr. Coleman had two signed sets, exact like this one, in the past and he has no second feelings about the maker being Jaques. Looking at the quality I have no reason to disagree. |
